·               Led GPS team and contractors in multiple pilots to determine the feasibility of decimeter accuracy surveying for natural gas facilities.

·               Led team in implementation for live data collection using survey grade GNSS and comprehensive feature library to locate and attribute existing underground gas facilities as well as seamlessly acquiring said facilities during construction.

·               Maintained and met budget goals for outside contractor labor.

Designed and implemented GIS for Comcast employees and management. Fiber and RF design:

·         Created and maintained GIS from Oracle/Access database with over 20,000 records/data points.

BALZER AND ASSOCIATES, Glen Allen, VA :

Developed construction plans for  neighborhoods, which included the following skill sets :

· Various land development design experience including storm sewer, sanitary sewer, waterline, erosion & sediment controls, floodplain studies, house siting, and road design; all according to county and state standards.

· Handled the estimate of raw materials, equipment, maintenance activities, etc.

· Responsible for planning, designing and executing the project plan to final stage.

· Prepared construction and environmental compliance documents; developed grading plans, cost estimates and bid specifications; and provided construction oversight, environmental sampling and site reconnaissance.

GIS Field Manager (Feb 2004 – Feb 2005)

·         Transformed a three man team from an outside engineering firm which had very limited knowledge of computers, into very productive software users and GPS collectors.

·         Led team that calculated GPS positions on every business and residential access point in Wise County, VA.

·         Implemented communication and troubleshooting techniques that saved hundreds of billable hours.

GIS Field Technician (Feb 2002 – Feb 2004)

·         Worked unsupervised all over the East Coast calculating GPS positions for fixed feature assets in all utility fields.
